Life Updated November 2021 Hi all- For those of you who remember me, i used to be called Ronnie in school,not Ron, but for business, Ron was easier. In my senior year '62 at fairfax, I started a band with me singing, called Ron Gary & The Tridents, that included Red (Mark) Stevens, Jon Wexler, who played sax, Jon Samuel (occasionally), who also played sax, Don Saposnek, and Neil Seidel, who was younger. (he went on to play with Gary Lewis and the Playboys). After playing at the Whisky a-go-go and pj's, i had some promises, including Motown, that didn't materialize. So, at 20, i went into my father’s one man fabric business, We built the business up over the years to include 10 retail stores called Fabric Warehouse. We sold them in 1990, the folks moved to Rancho Mirage in '94 and I moved to NY.
